Crafted from the actual words and experiences of ten Holocaust survivors, this new play puts a human face on this painful time in the history of the Jewish people. A cautionary tale on the risks of normalized hate, this play ensures that the voices of survivors will never be silenced.
"Survivors" weaves the shocking and inspirational stories of Eva Abrams, Erich Arndt, Arthur Herz, Ellen Lewinsky, Rosemarie Molser, Henry Silberstern, Helen Przysuskier, Evie Schuerman, Kurt Weinbach and Carl Voldman.
Survivors was written to provide age appropriate Holocaust education (grades 7-12), while also being an inspirational drama for adult audiences. It is an educational, arts-based complement to any curriculum including the study of the Holocaust, World War II, genocide, and/or human rights.
